Meet Your Walnut Creek City Councilmembers-elect: Civic Affairs Forum, Tuesday, September 1
Election day is Tuesday, November 3. For the first time in recent history, two candidates are running for two open Walnut Creek City Council seats, leading to an uncontested race. That means both candidates, Cherise Khaund and Brendan Moran, will join Walnut Creek City Council this December 2026.
In place of a traditional Candidate Forum, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau will host a Civic Affairs Forum featuring Councilmembers-elect Cherise Khaund and Brendan Moran in conversation with Walnut Creek Chamber Board Chair Angela Ashley.
