Return of Summer Camps for Kids at Joybound People & Pets!
Good news for kids ages 10-14 looking for summer fun! Joybound People & Pets has redesigned its hugely popular and award-winning summer camp program that was curtailed years ago by the pandemic. Now, Joybound is welcoming children back to participate in a weeklong session of Camp Joybound on Joybound’s Walnut Creek campus. Joybound’s four-legged shelter friends are already preparing for the arrival of their human camping buddies.
Joybound campers get a chance to enjoy the veterinarian experience with very accommodating patients.
Camp Joybound introduces students to veterinary medicine and animal care, providing hands-on experience with dogs and cats in a fun and instructive environment. Throughout the week, students will learn alongside, shadow, and engage in hands-on care with Joybound’s veterinary clinic, animal care, training, and adoption experts. They’ll even get a behind-the-scenes look at surgery. Camp Joybound is perfect for students with a passion for animal care and wellness, life sciences, and medicine. And those who just love being with dogs and cats.
Five options: Each session runs five days,
Monday through Friday, 9am–2pm.
