Set among the groomed gardens of the historic Shadelands Ranch Museum, the Walnut Creek Historical Society’s annual Shadelands Summer Market is a free, family-friendly, open-air market featuring more than 40 vendors offering distinctive, locally produced arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, baked and artisanal foods, and more. The Barn Sale offers vintage and one-of-a-kind treasures from the Ranch Museum's antique and historical collections.
The centerpiece 1903 Shadelands ranch house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will be open for tours.
A day at the annual Shadelands Summer Market is a great way to spend time outdoors, shopping handcrafted and historical treasures and exploring Walnut Creek’s history, all while strolling the Ranch Museum’s luscious grounds and experiencing the joys of summer in Walnut Creek.
