Founded in 1987, the Walnut Creek Concert Band is the official band of the City of Walnut Creek, established to promote community identity and enrich civic pride. An all-volunteer body of community musicians, the Walnut Creek Concert Band is dedicated to excellence in performance, artistic development, and patriotic service in the American tradition of the concert band.
The Walnut Creek Concert Band, a nonprofit organization, presents a mix of formal concerts and music for civic and patriotic functions, performing annually at Walnut Creek’s Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veterans Day ceremonies.
