Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Procedures & Wellness Treatments to Look, Feel Your Best
“People are searching for ways to look better and to feel better about themselves,” said Seth Eberlin, MD, owner and medical director of Golden Hills Plastic Surgery at 100 N. Wiget Lane, Suite 100, in Shadelands. “I approach every day, every consult very personally because I’m here for the patient, not the problem. I don’t see a problem and say, ‘I’ve got to fix that.’ I ask, What does the patient want?”
Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Eberlin specializes in customized surgical facial rejuvenation of brows, upper eyelids, jowls, and necks; breast enhancement; and body contouring, including tummy tucks and liposuction, all performed in the fully accredited outpatient Aspen Surgery Center, at 100 N. Wiget Lane, in the same building and right next door to his practice.
“We’re very good at helping people look better with basic plastic surgery – medical advancements in techniques and procedures have gotten to the point that we excel at enhancing appearance,” said Dr. Eberlin, who has been practicing in the field of plastic surgery for more than 15 years. “And there are many associated non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures today that allow us to help people toward that goal – to get their desired effects, without surgery.”
Cosmetic services performed in office include Botox, fillers, and skin rejuvenation procedures such as dermaplaning, microneedling for skin tone and texture, and hydrafacials that clinically stimulate skin to produce more collagen and help skin glow, with long-lasting effects.
The personal and singular approach to medical care at Golden Hills Plastic Surgery is a part of the practice’s culture. “We are here to treat you, the individual you – not the collective you,” said Dr. Eberlin. He begins with determining which solution is the right solution for that patient – physically and emotionally – and then they take that path together.
“We’re a small, boutique plastic surgery office, with white glove service, from beginning to end,” said Practice Manager Sheilla Likar, who has more than 25 years of experience in the medical field. “All of our services – surgeries, minimally-invasive procedures, and wellness offerings – are tailored to each and every individual. The beauty of a boutique practice is the comfort in knowing the familiar faces and voices of the people who greet you with respect and kindness from the moment you walk through the door. You get us for the entirety of your procedure. Dr. Eberlin does all the consultations, all the surgeries, and is with the patient from the first visit to the last. I do a second part of the consultation, and others on the team – our registered nurse or esthetician – might be a part of the procedures – but it always starts with Dr. E.”
After four years of undergraduate studies at Yale University, Dr. Eberlin attended University of Southern California (USC) for medical school, and then six years of residency at USC. He completed his residency in 2015, and joined Brad Prescott, MD, a plastic surgeon who ran his own practice in Shadelands at the 100 N. Wiget, Suite 100, location for many years. Dr. Eberlin passed his oral and written boards, and became board certified in November 2016. He officially took over the practice in 2018, and upon Dr. Prescott’s retirement in 2019, Dr. Eberlin became the owner and sole practitioner, changing the name of the practice to Golden Hills Plastic Surgery and expanding its cosmetic rejuvenation services.
“My vision was – and still is – that there are whole areas of cosmetic surgeries and procedures that we can offer to fix things, to restore appearance, and to help people feel good and, quite literally, feel comfortable in their own skin,” said Dr. Eberlin. “When I took over, I added to the bread and butter of the plastic surgery practice by offering associated cosmetic services. And that’s why we’re expanding further into the wellness side – for instance, we’re offering peptides, which help our bodies do a better job of what they already do,” by signaling skin cells to repair and hydrate, reducing wrinkles and enhancing the skin’s natural resilience.
“Surgery can be very scary – especially elective surgery. There are reconstructive surgeries that are necessary for a laceration, a tear, a trauma of some sort. But everybody who comes in here is coming here on their own volition. They all want to have this done, and it can be an intimidating decision to volunteer themselves to go through this. And I appreciate our staff so much because there has to be trust in the entire practice – not just me – but in the entire practice. At some point, our patients say, ‘Alright, I’m putting myself in your hands. Let’s do it.’ That’s why you have to have confidence in the first person you see walking in to the office, to the last person you see walking out. It’s a big decision, and it should be life altering in a good way.”
“I’ve always wanted to do this, even as a little kid, I’ve wanted to fix things,” said Dr. Eberlin. “I wanted to be the doctor who puts things back together again – to bring things back to normal, and to help people feel good. And I take all of this very personally – each patient truly matters to me. I want people to go home and say, ‘This is awesome, I’m really happy with the result.’ That’s what we’re looking for.”
