Joybound People & Pets is holding one of its largest community events and fundraisers on Sunday, September 14, in downtown Walnut Creek. Free and open to the public, Joybound Around Town on Broadway is celebrating its 25th year with a community pet walk and festival in Broadway Plaza.

Joybound Around Town on Broadway begins at 11am with a celebratory pet walk. Participants make the easy, one-mile stroll around Broadway Plaza with their furry friends and fellow animal lovers. Team leaders use Joybound’s online portal to invite friends, family, and co-workers to join their team and raise funds to provide safe, healthy, loving homes to animals in need. Register for free and start fundraising early to earn fundraising prizes. Top fundraisers and top fundraising teams win extra-special prizes.

Pet Wellness Festival
After the pet parade, the day of fun continues into the afternoon with Joybound’s Pet Wellness Festival. The streets of Broadway Plaza will be lined with pet-related booths and activities. The day’s most popular — and adorable — event, the Best-Dressed Pet Contest, takes place on the main stage. Attendance at the pet festival is free and no registration is required.
